I ESTABLISHED THIS FIRM IN 2003, with a commitment to a sustainable approach to create beautiful, healthy, and energy efficient living space. Our services include the design and construction of custom homes, and additions to and renovations of existing homes.

We typically work in the vintage neighborhoods of Montgomery County, MD and Washington DC, including Takoma Park, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Kensington, and upper Northwest DC. Partnering with local builders, we also provide design services in the mid-Atlantic region, including Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina, as well as New Mexico.

I bring my training in fine art and the history of architecture, my hands-on experience in the field in almost every phase of construction, and my study and practice of green building to every project. I rely on the use of natural elements—sunlight, fresh breezes, and a wide range of natural materials—and manmade materials used in a natural way—to create comfort, beauty, and security.
